ALI Custom Protocol Requirements

Protocol Customization (adapting our products' standard ascii command protocol to accept your custom ascii command output protocol) is available for a ONE TIME cost. This fee is non-recurring. We will waive this fee if you order 10 or more units!!! Protocol customization charges vary based on quantity order and complexity of request. Please contact manufacturer with details for price quote.
Communications Requirements
Protocol Customization is available for our standard RS-232 or RS-485 display interface only. Any converters required to achieve standard RS-232 or 485 are not included in the Protocol Customization fee. *Some serial output devices are NOT compatible even with command protocol changes. Please refer to us with technical details on your device in order for us to determine if there are any other compatibility issues.
What You are Required to Provide (after meeting the communications requirement)
#1	You must provide a complete list of the ASCII commands that our display must respond to.
#2	You must provide a copy of the manual for the device that our unit will interface with (if it is a third party product)
#3	You must have a person designated to work with us that is capable of answering questions regarding the operation of the display.
